WPExplorer Adapt theme flexslider error in IE7 (3 posts)

I'm having some issues with the flexslider on the homepage of my website and in posts using the Adapt theme by WPExplorer.
It works perfectly in Chrome, Firefox and Opera, but doesn't show at all in Internet Explorer 7.

I've been searching the web for days now trying to find a solution, but no luck so far. I'm fairly new to PHP and jQuery (where i suspect the problem lies) so your help would be greatly appreciated!

PS. Contacting the creator of the theme directly is not an option. WPExplorer does not seem to offer support for their free themes to non paying users.

If it's a slider provided via the theme then you're out of luck. It's still a commercial theme even though it cost you nothing to download it and we do not support those here.

Getting support for that problem from them may be a moot point:

but doesn't show at all in Internet Explorer 7.

A friendly word of advice? IE 7 was designed to make your blood pressure expand. I honestly believe Microsoft wants web designers heads to explode...

Your best bet really is to purchase an account from the theme author and obtain support from them.

Not really the support I was hoping, but thanks for your advice Jan. Got to love Internet Explorer....

I'll consider if it's worth purchasing an account to get support from the theme author directly. But I'm secretly still hoping for a member to have conquered the same problem before and be willing to share the solution with me of course.
