WP.com and FTP files (4 posts)

I am trying to help a fellow co-worker. She is the administrator of this side: http://www.zerocrediti.com. She says that she made no installation of the software, or contacted a server. Yet she created an entire website. The thing right now, is that the system is telling us "BackUpWordPress has detected a problem. The last backup email failed to send. It's likely that the file is too large."
I want to guide her into installing a new plugin, but as she does not have an FTp file, it is becoming very difficult. The question is, can people create websites using wp.com and if so, how can we find an ftp file or transfer it without losing all of the information??.
Thank you so much for any suggestion or idea...

    Yes.

    wordpress.com doesn't allow ftp.

Support for wordpress.com issues should be directed to http://en.support.wordpress.com/

That being said, zerocrediti.com appears to be built on wordpress.org software and appears to be hosted by Hetzner Online

Access to the site files would probably be through the user account (cPanel?) login on that site.

As for the error message, there is a prior discussion that might contain something that helps explain: "BackUpWordPress has detected a problem" "email failed to send. It's likely that the file is too large"

Thank you so much for your reply, I have communicated your message to my friend, and she is trying to remember how did the whole installation of her page. You have been very kind. I appreciate it.
