    Hi,

So I don't know if I'm being completley useless but I can't seem to change permissions for WPBook to publish to facebook.

I've searched all the other posts and uninstalled & reinstalled WPBook.

I follow the "checking permissions" page and I get the following:

This page is where you can check and grant extended permissions, which enable WPBook to publish to your personal wall and/or to the walls of fan pages.

The Facebook profile ID you are currently logged in to Facebook as is 515229045. You have defined 515229045 as your Facebook user id in WPBook Settings.

FB profile 515229045 has granted these permissions:

    offline_access - no
    read_stream - no
    publish_stream - no
    manage_pages - no

An access token for this user has been stored.

You've indicated you wish to publish to this page: 205280389550514

But I can't work out how I can actually change these permissions?

I've some issues trying to work out how to set up a tab in wordpress - is this likely to do with this issue/because I havent tried hard enough or because facebook has changed its functionality?

    Thank you very much!

It should say underneath where your quote ends, "To correct any of these, Grant or re-grant permissions for your userid. (This is required if you intend to publish to your personal wall OR any fan pages.)"

If it is not showing that, it is because some kind of error is occuring.

Try removing the page id from the WPBook settings, saving that, and revisiting the "check permissions" page - it's likely happening as WPBook tries to get all the pages you manage, but can't see them as you haven't yet granted manage_pages to your user id.

    Hey John,

Thanks for getting back to me.

There's definatley no link so at least its an error not me being stupid...

I've been trying for the last few days to delete the settings from the settings page - like removing the page ID etc. but it won't let me change them unless I put something else in. I've deactivated/deleted from my server, installed 2.3.3, activated it and it still remembers all the settings - is there a file in another directory I need to delete so it doesn't remember these?

It's protected by a proxy - this shouldn't affect it should it?

    Thank you so much!!! :D

Right - I've managed to delete settings now but when all the settings aren't put in the "checking permissions" link isn't there. And when it is there, it doesn't load.

    Sorry!

Ok, so you've deleted settings now.

You have to add the info for App ID, Secret, and your Facebook ID first, and save that - and they have to be correct!

Then your check permissions link should work - if not, something is wrong in your setup of your FB app or of the profile ID you have put in.

See http://wpbook.net/ for more detailed setup instructions.
