    Hi!
I have recently installed WordPress on my hosting. But the problem
is when I type mye webadres+wpadmin it says "internet explorer cannot display the webpage"?? Where else can I log into the control panel? Have there even been created a blog for my domain name?

    It should be blogaddress/wp-admin

That should prompt you to login.

That is exactly what I do, but it would not work! Should I try to remove it and install it again from my host?

Maybe post a link to where you think your site should be located.

    Hi..
I am having the same problem. Godaddy is my host, they have an auto install for wordpress. it seems like it installed properly, since when i go to my domain http://www.fuegohd.tv it shows the wordpress blog. However when I click on the login link it says "The requested url /wordpress/wp-login.php not found.
I am new to wordpress and dont know if I am doing something wrong, or if there is something wrong with the installation. HELP!! Please..

    Fuego,

youve managed to make wordpress think its installed into a sub-directory:

    http://fuegohd.tv/wordpresstv/

and no there arent files there.

thats why the front of your site has no stylesheet, and thats why you get a 404 trying to login.

The requested URL /wordpresstv/wp-login.php was not found on this server.

so you either move your files into that directory, and make sure that this process is completed:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory

you have 1/2 of the above already -- wordpress thinks thats where the files are.

    whoo,
I dont think I will be able to do that since i cant login to the options panel.
and no there arent files there.

This is what it looks like in my file manager:
    -wordpresstv
    -wp-admin
    css
    images
    import
    includes
    js
    -wp-content
    +plugins
    +themes
    -wp-includes
    +text
    +images
    +js
It looks like the files are there, and it installed correctly. maybe not. any thoughts??

you dont need to login to the admin panel. Your url settings are already changed. You need to make the files match whats changed. You do that by moving the files.

    You have three choices:

you edit the url settings inside the databse so they match where the files are Now:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress#Moving_WordPress_Within_Your_Site

or you make the location of the files match what I keep telling you about the directory namked wordpresstv, either leaving your blog in that directory, or by editing your index.php (so that you have wordpress in its own directory).

and what you pasted is NOT what wordpress thinks is going on.

Once again, wordpress thinks the files are INSIDE wordpresstv

what you pasted tells me that the directory is there, but the files are outside of it.

this also shows you that they are NOT inside that directory:

    http://fuegohd.tv/wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php

do you see wordpresstv in that url?
