• I’ve been using WP super cache for several months on my site. It never really gave me the benefits I hoped for, and recently it had been causing some issues – so I decided to unistall it.

Now my site is broken. The main page will load, but all content is missing – just the header loads.

I followed all of the steps found here:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-super-cache/other_notes/

I was able to reinstall supercache – and the site regained some functionality. Still has issues – most pages won’t load the first time, they need to be added to the cache first.
Plus, I’m not able to access the pages or posts from the dashboard. The dashboard loads correctly, and I can access settings and plugins etc… but I get a “webpage not available” when I try to access the posts or pages tab.

I’ve gone through this process several times (unistalling, reinstalling) and keep getting the same results.

When supercache is uninstalled, the site loads blank – header only.
When supercache is installed, the site loads slowly and sporadically, but access to content from the dashboard does not work.

    the site is – http://digiitalarchfab.com/test/

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

  • Make sure the WP_CACHE define is removed from your wp-config.php, AND that you haven’t moved any other code in that file because you might have introduced a PHP error if you did it manually.

Also check you PHP error log (I can’t tell you where that is, sorry) as that will most likely tell you where the site is broken.
