wp_nav_menu links not active. (4 posts)

I'm having a heck of a time getting the links to be active in my nav menu at the top of my site. html and css seems to check out, but it could be something obvious I'm overlooking. The generated html shows a href tags wrapping the appropriate images. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The problem is the text indent, the anchor tag, in this circumstance, is working on the text within and since the text is indented, you cannot use the anchor.

I see. I had set the indent on the text to force it off the viewable page so only the .png image nav file would show. I guess what I'm attempting to do is wrap the anchor tag around the <img src> as opposed to the text, if that makes sense. Have been googling for awhile and the none of the solutions seem to be working.

I think I've figured out at least part of the puzzle by embedding the <img src="image"> in the 'navigation link' field under admin console > appearances > menu > pages.
