wp_list_cats, children and hierarchy problem (6 posts)

In my blog, I have multiple children for certain categories.. and their not displaying as they should.

Only the first child gets displayed 'under' the parent, each child thereafter gets displayed 'next to' the previous child.

I would assume that in the code(possibly in my theme?), there's a missing BR tag. For any more than 1 child, does not get displayed under, but next to.

Would this be a CSS issue or a coding bug?

I'm using the ShadedGrey theme, found over at http://WPthemes.info
    Also using WP1.5.

Thanks to anyone that can help me figure this one out, cause it's really bugging me. :)

It sounds like a problem with how your list is styled in CSS. Check out this article on the Codex for more informaton to help you figure this out.

And if you give us a link to your site, we can pour through the CSS and really get down to what might be your problem.

    I don't think it's a CSS issue...
On my test site the subcats did not work either until I updated the category-functions file with this:
    http://trac.wordpress.org/changeset/2396

As it is now the code doesn't generate the class="children" for the third level. Mine does > see here
