wp_list_bookmarks not ordering properly

    I’ve got a call to wp_list_bookmarks with orderby parameter set to ‘updated’. But whether I have sort order set to ASC or DESC the latest added link is put at the bottom of the list. Same thing happens actually if I switch orderby parameter to ID. I’ve checked database and the ID is in fact the highest ID # assigned.
