friscoThis may not be a pure MS question, but I'm posting it here in case it goes in that direction. I upgraded a WP 3.2.1 network to WP 3.3, and I notice that some (but not all) users on the main site have multiple wp_capabilities entries in the wp_usermeta table. Some capabilities are duplicates of the same capability, except the umeta_id is different. Others are different, such as where 1 capability is subscriber and the other is contributor.
If I click on the Contributors link under Users in the admin backend (which presumably should be filtering for just Contributors), I see some subscribers listed. Those are the folks with conflicting wp_capabilities entries.
I'm guessing those multiple wp_capabilities entries should not be there. Can I safely delete them? Any idea what could have caused this? I upgraded numerous single sites and didn't see this behavior.
