fractureI just switched to 2.9. When using the media library "view" function, I now get two copies of each image.
I believe this is related to the new streamlined embedding features.
As it happens, I use the image "description" field to hold links to the original source (e.g. the Flickr photo page), and a link to the relevant creative commons license.
With 2.9, it looks like this media viewer is picking up the link to the original source and displaying it along with the copy I have stored in the media library.
Almost a feature, I suppose, but not particularly wanted in this case.
