WP visual editor not functioning (3 posts)

I have two WP sites, both using Genesis but different child templates. One site is fine, the other has developed gremlins.

I am unable to add or edit posts/pages using the visual editor. Cannot paste post/page either.

The only way to view post/page is with the HTML editor.

WYSIWYG with all the "buttons" for bold, italic, format, etc is not visible.

Site is function from visitor side but post/page edits on admin is not working.

    Suggestions?

First check your user setting to make sure the visual editor is not turned off.

    Then try
    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Thanks. Took some time, but it was a YouTube plugin that was recently updated that caused the problem.

YouTube embedplu v 2.1 is the culprit.
