   Attempting a 3.3 update and I get this:

   You cannot update because WordPress 3.3 requires PHP version 5.2.4 or higher. You are running version 4.4.9.

   I am running this on GoDaddy and my php for the account is 5.2, has been for some time.
   Will I need to do a manual install or is there a check file in wp that I can delete and it will recheck my php version again?

   5.2 is lower than 5.2.4 Ask your hosts to upgrade PHP.
