• I recently started using your plugin, with little succees cause i ran into some problems.

First of all the WordPress admin bar i’m using on my wordpress site is not showing on the phpbb forum page.

Second i’m using the “Page-theme” plugin to set specific themes per page, more specificly to hide the ‘sidebar-background’ for my theme on pages where i’m using full page width without sidebar (in this case on the forum page, which worked great on my old MyBB forumpage)

But it just seems to be using my default theme (while i set the page to use a custom theme)

U can see the page settings here: http://oi62.tinypic.com/2lui6r.jpg
And my WP-United settings here: http://oi62.tinypic.com/a4v2ab.jpg
Old forum with full width without sidebar and custom theme: http://oi59.tinypic.com/15i0o6q.jpg

Last but not least i want to hide this whole phpbb-header/login menu: http://oi59.tinypic.com/jpzngz.jpg

I’m even using plugins to ALWAYS show the admin bar in WordPress so i just don’t get it why its not showing.

I had this issue too, so I just have removed the admin bar by http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-admin-bar-removal/
I’m not sure if you can make the admin bar to be visible at phpbb, but you can remove it.

I don’t want to remove it because i’m using it together with buddypress, on page theme: i just want phpbb to use a wordpress child theme and not the default one, is this possible? By hardcoding it in the wp-united php files or something?

I just solved the sidebar-background problem by editing the theme path in the css files @ cache.

Now the only problem left is the admin bar.

Well, you have a complicated structure: two themes, buddypress and phbpp, right? And the difference between your themes is the presence of ‘sidebar-background’. And your site is http://ps4actueel.nl/

At this case I would create and activate a child theme (if you’d like your default theme to be safely updated) with a custom template without ‘sidebar-background’. And I’d choose the template for some pages as you need and for the theme integration with phpbb. So this is a solution without “Page-theme” plugin.

The admin bar issue can be solved by creating a controls you need in the pseudo admin bar which is a part of the header of your theme and removing the core admin bar.

is not look like a right way….

I already have a child theme (same as the default wordpress theme only without the background @ sidebar) which i’ve set to the forumpage.

But that’s not my problem anymore, only the admin bar part is left now.
