• Hi,

I installed WPTouch and it all looks great. But, I ran into 2 problems with the comment part below a post.

1a) It displays the time since the comment was posted. I would rather have the post date here, like on the normal desktop comments. Is this possible?

1b) If 1a isn’t possible, how can I prevent the “s” from showing. I have a Dutch site, and can translate “mo” (from “mos”, as in months) into mnd (which is Dutch). But it keeps adding a “s” behind it (same as with “wks”, where you can only translate “wk”).

    2) The comments are sorted by post date, so the oldest comment is on top, instead of the newest one (like you can configure in WordPress itself). Can I change this?

I have been searching quite a while now on these forums and Google, but I can’t find it 🙁

    Thanks!

    Jacco

  • Hi,

These changes can be done easily in WPtouch Pro.

1a) By default, the date the comment was posted is shown in WPtouch Pro.

    2) You can likely use a custom function to do this. It is possible by using a WPtouch Pro child theme. Which essentially works like normal WordPress child themes.

    You’re welcome.
