• I had a blog last year using 2.9.1 and the WP Thread Comments plugin which was wonderful, since it threaded comments AND emailed responses to the commentors.

I lost that domain, bought a new one, and am using WP 2.9.1 on it as well. I’ve set up a test blog, and WP Thread Comments works fine on it. My main blog is the EXACT same thing, right down to the theme being used, and WP Thread Comments does not work at all on it. I get the “reply” link, but when I click it, it does nothing. I can, however, reply from the admin panel and the plugin will do what it is supposed to do. The only difference between the main blog and test blog is that the main blog is in the root directory of my database – the same it was with my former domain.

I am currently having to use WP’s threaded comments feature and a comment email responder to get the kind of functionality I want from my comments, and I’d really rather not have to do that.

I have searched here and not come across this particular problem. And the plugin’s FAQ was in a language I couldn’t read. Has anyone dealt with this?

    Thank you so much!

  • I have the same problem too. I’ve tried searching everywhere for a solution, but nothing. When I hover over it, in my status bar it says “javascript void(0)”

    Hope someone can help.
