I used this plugin without issue on my blog editorial post (http://win-with-1.com/31dbbb-12-editorial-calendar/). Tried to use it again today for my WordPress upgrade (http://win-with-1.com/update-wordpress-3-0-4-free/) post and there is a problem.
No matter what I do, when I insert the table, it forces the paragraph following the table way down the page, leaving a big, blank space.
Help?
Hi,
Thank you for your question.
This space is added by the DataTables JavaScript library. It is needed for certain features of that library, which you are however not using.
To remove it, just disable the usage of the library on the table's "Edit" screen, by unchecking the corresponding checkbox, which you can find below the table cell text fields.
Best wishes,
Tobias

Tobias a related problem on a new post.
I don't want the search and all that on this table, but can't turn them off. On the Edit page, under Table Styling Options, I can check or uncheck all the boxes EXCEPT the
Use JavaScript library checkbox. It is checked and dimmed. I can't change it.
Also all the Datatables JavaScript Features items are set (some checked, some not) and dimmed. I can't edit any of them.
???
Hi Alison,
have you checked the "Table Head" checkbox (above the "Use JavaScript library" checkbox)? That is required for all of those that you mention to be changeable.
Regards,
Tobias
