Hi All,
I'm sure this question has been posted already, but I can't seem to find an answer that solves my problem.. Probably because I am only 2 days new to WP..
Anyway - I install the wp-table plug-in to my TwentyTen template. But now I am unable to figure out how to put it in to an actual page..?
Even if you just send me a link to the directions in the help pages, Id be grateful. At moment, I find nothing..
Please advise and many thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Laurie

Have you read the instructions? It looks like you make a table through the plugin interface, and then use a shortcode to display it
the shortcode will look like:
[TABLE=ID]
I'm guessing the ID is a number, also guessing that when you make a table in the plugins backend, it gets assigned an ID number.
You just type that shorcode above directly into your post/page where you wish to display the table

instructions? =)
Ok.. I dont mean to sound as obtuse as I am sure I am coming across....
But - where is the plugin interface?
The instructions (#3) says: Create your table at Manage -> Tables
and honestly I can't figure out how to get to "manage" ..
again, sorry for not understanding.. All of this very new.
Thanks again.
I would think there would be a new tab in your admin area somewhere
Maybe a whole new tab for wp-tables, or it could be under an existing tab, like settings or something
just fyi, wp_tables is a very outdated plugin...
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-table-reloaded/
seems to be more up to date if the other doesn't work
Also, I just installed the plugin on my test install, the tables menu is available under the posts main tab
