WP Super Cache Timestamp Problem (10 posts)

    Does anyone have same problem?

    Cache Tester

Test your cached website by clicking the test button below.
Fetching http://www.summithomeimprovements.com.au/ to prime cache: OK
Fetching first copy of http://www.summithomeimprovements.com.au/: OK (1.html)
Fetching second copy of http://www.summithomeimprovements.com.au/: OK (2.html)

The pages do not match! Timestamps differ or were not found!

    Things you can do:
    1. Load your homepage in a logged out browser, check the timestamp at the end of the html source. Load the page again and compare the timestamp. Caching is working if the timestamps match.
    2. Enable logging on the Debug page here. That should help you track down the problem.
    3. You should check Page 1 and Page 2 above for errors. Your local server configuration may not allow your website to access itself.

I wonder why the screen reveals "The pages do not match! Timestamps differ or were not found!". Is anything wrong? I want to get it clear immediately. Please help me!I would appreciate if you could help me with this problem. :)

I looked at the source of your homepage and there's no sign that WP Super Cache is running at all. Use the debug log and check that the plugin is doing something!

    Where's the debug log, Donncha?

Settings page of the plugin, look at the Debug tab. Once you activate debugging the page will print a link to the debug log.

Donncha, I activated the debug mode and found a link to the debug log. ../wp-content/cache/da7f8b6a04acf86fbf22640a8add657b.txt What can I do next? Fix problems with the plugin by debugging??

Yeah, it's only a text file and will open in your browser so look in it. It should tell you it's writing cache files for the URLs people visit and more.

When I click the text file, it showed me a page not found. http://www.summithomeimprovements.com.au/wp-content/cache/da7f8b6a04acf86fbf22640a8add657b.txt Any thoughts?

Yes, Supercache isn't writing to it. It looks like it's not activated so there's something really weird happening on your site. I honestly don't know what without logging in there and checking around but I don't have time to do that for you.
