WP stats not working properly (12 posts)

The only part of the stats that show up are the 'top post and pages'. Nothing under 'clicks', 'referrers', 'search engine terms'. I'm using WordPress 2.8.4, installed the API key. The system says the plugin is up and running & working fine. I have reinstalled it a few times, same result.
And yes, the <?php wp_footer(); ?> is showing.

Any further suggestions as to how to make this work properly?

    Thank you in adavance!

Can you share how you fixed it? My stats stopped working completely out of the blue.

    Thanks!

    Fixed!!

What if the stats don't start showing up? Do I need anything special in my theme?

Yes, your theme must have a call to <?php wp_footer(); ?> at the very bottom right before the </body> tag.

Hi, so it seems there is a solution but it's not clear to me here from this thread. I did recently modify my footer with a thesis_hook. I don't believe it stopped working then, because I constantly check the stats - well, daily and that was done few days ago.
    Please advise.

My situation is this: I get blank on the chart, but I show Referrer and Titles, for today, and I do believe it updated because yesterday's is now showing under yesterday.

I have not deactivated or uninstalled to reinstall as I do not know whether I will lose my historical stats.

Please advise!!!! Thank you so much.

@thewickednoodle: no clue as to why they all of a sudden showed up. All of a sudden, after three days... there they were.

@fbahram: i did a deactivate, and a reinstall. My stats display correctly, also those from before the deactivate / reinstall (after uninstalling the original zip). I can't say whether this guarantees they will do the same for you... It's a dangerous life in between bits & bytes :)

lol. Love the sense of humour. I guess you don't want me to come after you if I lose my stats ;)! Just teasing, and good to know you did not lose yours. Thanks again! I'll try it!

Great, disaster. It wants my API key which I entered, but is not associating it right with my blog. I just deactivated and wanted to reactivate again!!! :(

that is new to me fbraham. Purged it from my server, reinstalled, it asked me for my API key again, and that one was accepted. I did have to confirm i had a wordpress.com blog.

You can get all previous versions here http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/stats/download/

Quick fix until they get these bugs resolved.

So just installed WP Stats and been trying to get it to work. Shows up fine on Dashboard, but I know for sure I've had two unique visitors and no stats for them show up.

I know there's supposed to be a call in the theme somewhere, but I'm unclear on where to put it. Using the atahualpa.3.4.5 theme. I found under the Main Index Template (index.php) the call but not sure if the is the one it needs. Can anyone help out with that? If it is the right one, any other suggestions to get it to work?
