    Hi,
Are there any plans to make WP-Spamfree work with WP Super Cache’s compression in future? I like Spamfree but it’s also important for me to serve gzipped pages for speed/bandwidth.

    Hey spoole.

You’ll be happy to know that the recent versions of WP-SpamFree that are compatible with WordPress 2.5 (WP-SpamFree versions 1.5.8+) are already compatible with the gzip compression and other features of WP Super Cache. I just updated the documentation and removed the terminology referring to potential conflicts with gzip leftover from previous versions.

If you experience any problems at all, please submit a support request so we can look into it ASAP. (See Troubleshooting on the “Other Notes” page or in the readme.txt for more info.)

Thanks! Actually, I just moved to a host with server-wide gzip, and WP-Spamfree seems to be happy with it, so all is well. 🙂
