Do you have access to your MySQL logfile?
Camu
Hello Camu,
I have access to cPanel
You should be able to get to your logfile from there π That may help you understand why the tables are not being created.
Are you trying to install Wp SlimStat in a multisite environment?

wp-slimstat Not Creating Tables In MySQL on Plugin Install
I have had no problems with any other plugins writing to MySQL and creating tables.
Is there a older version i should try and install that will create tables?
Do you have a scripts i can run to create tables for wp-slimstat to work?
I can load them using the WP database plugin that will run SQL
No website for plugin is not in a multisite environment
where can I find the MySQL logfile in cPanel?
Thank you for your help!
These are the SQL queries to manually create those tables (make sure to replace wp_ with your actual wordpress db prefix):

Okay, I found the problem. You clicked on the ‘Activate now’ link right after downloading and installing WP SlimStat. As a temporary fix, just go to your Plugins page, and then deactivate/activate WP SlimStat again. I am working on a fix for this issue.
Sorry for the inconvenience,
CamuPS: moderator, sorry for the code, I remembered it was 100 lines π I’m getting old…

A couple of bugs to point out..
On First Use, After you click on YES to “Use separate menu” and SAVE CHANGES – you may get the message “you dont have provlages to do this” thats because you need to click out and then click where new menu has been added.
I found a way to get this to WORK on one of my Gold Coast Accommodation Website that failed with the last version of your plugin Camu.
Here are the StepsFTP and manually remove WP-SlimStat Plugin Directory
Run CleanOptions plugin and tick and remove – slimstat_options
then it worked!Thanks again Camu!
I’ll try to reproduce this in my local test environment tomorrow and see if it can be fixed. Of course resetting the options should be used as your last resort.

I can’t seem to be able to trigger this error. Would you please list all the steps you did to make it happen?
Thanks,
CamuOkay i see what you mean. In order to refresh the side menu after changing that setting, just reload the page or go to your WordPress dashboard π
