WP Slimstat and Google Analytics issue

I got the dreaded message “misconfigured setting and/or server environment is preventing WP SlimStat from properly tracking my visitors”
I tried looking into it to find out what the issue was and since I don’t use any caching or plugins mentioned I was at a loss as to what was going on.

I do use the All In One SEO plugin and had enabled Google Analytics before using the WP Slimstat plugin. I found that after removing the Google Analytics ID and saving the page and then checking the Overview screen in WP Slimstat that the message was gone. Not sure what the exact issue is for sure, but this resolved that error message.
