  • Have you verified it via Google Webmaster tools?
Have you requested it be spidered?
Do you have lots of good incoming links from quality sites?
Is your content unique and of value? I can’t read Polish so I can’t evaluate the content.

    Hey Zoonini,

    Thanks for the response.

-Verified it via google webmaster tools, yes
-Requested to be spidered, yes (after 4 weeks still no crawl info available)
-incoming links, quality is ok, numbers are a bit low. All my previous sites were indexed after 1 or 2 days with only 2 or 3 backlinks.
-The content is unique and of value, yes
    -robot.txt seems to be OK
-To be sure I requested google to re-evaluate the site.

    Help 🙂

It shouldn’t take 4 weeks. Here are a few little things to check, just in case.

Just to be sure check that you have ticked the box that says that you want search engines to discover your blog – under privacy. Make sure the url you used in Analytics and Yoast match the default on your website exactly, including the www. and the absence of a trailing slash. Have you added a site map?

What does it say in anlytics under the status column?

    hey susanstones,

    -Current privacy settings
–“I would like my site to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Bing, Technorati) and archivers”

-Sitemap is added on day 1, updated twice just to be sure.

-What does it say in analytics under the status column?
    — Status is ok “Receiving data”

-Make sure the url you used in Analytics and Yoast match the default on your website exactly, including the www. and the absence of a trailing slash.
    — URL analytics is http://www.darmowe-online.pl Where can i Check the Yoast url setting?

Analytics is tracking your data then Yoast is set up correctly. I don’t know why you would still be getting a message that your website has not been indexed.

The only thing that I can suggest now is that the Panda update may have been applied to Polish sites. There have been rumors that sites have been de-indexed if the quality score was too low. Google doesn’t like sites with lots of advertisements, and you have what looks like a lot of ads.

It seems that the panda update has an effect on the ranking of a site in the searchresults. My site isn’t indexed at all. Panda update?

Google webmaster tools tells me that the site isn’t crawled by the google bot –> “no data available”.

Could it be something else? I want to be sure that it is not a technical issue or wrong setting.

Combia – you didn’t answer this question:

Do you have lots of good incoming links from quality sites?

Try getting your site linked – preferably with a link on relevant anchor text – from 5-10 high-quality sites that are relevant to your site’s content.

I don’t see any obvious technical problems, but again, I am at a handicap because I can’t assess the content itself. It may just be that Google hasn’t gotten around to it yet. It can take several months for a new site with no incoming links to be spidered initially. (The “sandbox” effect.) The more incoming links you have from quality, related, sites, the more likely Google will index it.

    Thanks again.

I’m not sure it is about the number of high quality incoming links. e.g. I guess 5-10 is a random number because nobody knows how Google algorithms work. Never had any problems with previous websites (similar content and link profile). I will give it a try and start with some link building today.

I agree on the “sandbox” effect. Before I posted this thread there were 2 things on my mind:
    1. Google Sandbox.
    2. Google banned the domain/url

Is there a way to check if a domain is banned by Google?

Check for messages in Google Webmaster Tools.

You can also do further research or post additional questions in some SEO sites and forums I’ve gathered.

Google are changing things all the time, so just because something worked previously it doesn’t mean that it will be acceptable now. Yes I agree that Panda was about the ranking of sites rather than indexing. But that doesn’t change the fact that there are people who claim to have had their sites deindexed during the panda update. I haven’t seen any confirmation of this from Google, so I class this as a rumor, but I would still take steps to rule out that possibility.

My recommendation would be to remove all ads until you have the site indexed. It will help with ranking anyway to not have the ads there initially. One the site has been indexed then you can replace the ads.
