    Hi,

in the dashboard and on plugin tab I see 1 (one) update is available. but when I go to the plugins page it shows all plugins are up to date.

Where does this update message come from?
All Plugins are active and updated to the latest version!

    Thanks
    Tom

I have that kind of problem at my server CP, and even thought I have told the offending script to stop monitoring my installations. So, something somewhere must not have updated a log or whatever...and I would likely just delete-and-reinstall the plugin to get that message to go away.

Try this: inspect _site_transient_update_plugins in the wp_options table.

Deleting the _site_transient_update_plugins entry in the wp_options table worked for me temporarily, but then the message came back later.

I'm having the same issue, and tried the fixes above but no luck. Still have a rogue/ghost "plugin" claiming that it has an update, when all are updated.
