   Hi, there has been a great problem due to an error on my part.
   my wordpress php files like wp-settings.php and similar files have been overwritten by files of another blog located in the same hosting account.
   so the blog is not opening properly.
   what do i do?
   Help me find a way out asap

   Grab the original (hopefully you have it stored locally) wp-settings.php and upload it to the correct location on the server.

   As far as the other blog overwriting the file, you might want to change to multi-sites or ensure the blogs are totally separated in different folders.
