wp-settings error line 21

    I set up my wp account and had my two sites working. I worked on one and then decided to get a new domain. I was trying to migrate my existing WP site to the new domain (on same server).

    I made sure the wp-config file was updated to the new site.
    I get a 404 error when trying to access the site.
    I can’t get into dashboard. I get an error message stating problem on line 21 of wp-setting file. I deleted the file and uploaded a new one. Still wont work. Line 21: require( ABSPATH . WPINC . ‘/load.php’ );

    Any suggestions?

    Did you also migrate the database? Did you change all the instances of the old url with the new url?

    It could be as well that there’s an error with the theme. I would install a clean installation of WordPress at your new domain, make sure it works and then connect your wp_config.php to the old db.
