I have just installed afresh copy of WP as I had so many errors with the RSS when it came to validation, witha coplete fresh install I still have validation issues with the RSS feed as follows.

    line 27, column 3: Avoid content:encoded (2 occurrences)
    line 30, column 3: wfw:commentRSS should be wfw:commentRss (2 occurrences)
line 40, column 28: guid should not be blank

and here is the script erros

test

As this is a complete new istallation I would have thought these errors were very popular but I can not find anything on the forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

content:encoded is no big deal, that's just the validator being picky.

The commentRSS thing is due to a change in the validator that wants the RSS to only have the R capitialized. You can edit wp-rss2.php and change the text of the commentRSS thing at the bottom to make the "SS" lowercase, and this will go away. Again, validator being overly picky.

I believe the guid problem only happens with a new empty blog. Make a post in the blog and delete the original "test post" and see if the problem goes away.
