    I'm at a loss then, I can't reproduce this.

lol. I guess I'm just a unique case then. I'm thinking it must be something with my site host, or something in my code that I may have changed (although I don't think I ever touched the wp-blog-header.php code).

I made some slight changes that should fix this. You can download the plugin and replace the wp-photos.php file in the plugins directory.

The button will not be on the write page, which he should have mentioned. If you write the article and then go to the 'Edit' page, you will see in the far right column the ability to 'Add' and 'Edit' photos.

I also get the sql error.
Database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 4]
    SELECT DISTINCT ID, category_id, cat_name, category_nicename, category_description, category_parent FROM wp_categories, wp_post2cat, wp_posts WHERE category_id = cat_ID AND post_id = ID AND post_id IN ()
Database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') GROUP BY ID' at line 4]
    SELECT ID, COUNT( comment_ID ) AS ccount FROM wp_posts LEFT JOIN wp_comments ON ( comment_post_ID = ID AND comment_approved = '1') WHERE post_status = 'publish' AND ID IN () GROUP BY ID
Database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') ORDER BY post_id,meta_key' at line 3]
SELECT post_id,meta_key,meta_value FROM wp_postmeta WHERE post_id IN() ORDER BY post_id,meta_key
It does display the photos, so I'm not toooo worried about it.

I just tried this and I think i just got most of it working, but on the edit posts page, above the add/edit link it says this:
Warning: main(../wp-photos.hack.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/krinklek/public_html/blurb/wp-admin/edit.php on line 114
Warning: main(): Failed opening '../wp-photos.hack.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/krinklek/public_html/blurb/wp-admin/edit.php on line 114

any suggestion what to look for? I dont even see a "wp-photos.hack.php" in there??

Great plugin very easy to use. Just wondering what do I need to modify to do following when user click on View Photos:
    a. open thumbnails in an iframe so that viewing of images can happen on the same page.
    or
    b. openining a pop-up with thumbnails.
    Thanks in advance!

I may be missing something, but is there a way to use this plugin with the built in upload feature in WP? Since this plugin requires you to put thumbnails in a seperate "t" folder, it doesn't follow the built in method of just adding a "t-" to the image file name. Is there any other way to automatically generate the thumbnails and upload the pictures without having to go into an FTP client? Thanks for the help.

It wasn't intended to work w/ the built-in upload feature, so it doesn't surprise me that it doesn't work smoothly.

    When I follow these instruction
Click the 'Add' link next to a post in the admin interface to open the WP Photos window. Then click the (Use ->) link next to the folder you want to use.
No photos show up to choose from, ,even though I have FTP'd them. So I get no option to follow the remaining instructions, which are:
Add your captions, select the one you want as your preview photo and hit save!

Cool. I just installed it and it is working on my site at:
    http://www.publichealthcenter.com/blogs/clay/
I would like to change the text that says, "View Photos." Where do I find that string in the files?

I believe the current release doesn't return those errors (as noted in the post 2 above yours). The table name is set in the plugin file, you can change it as you like.
