   I run a WP site for my childrens' school PTA and would like to allow parent from the school to sign up for volunteer activites on the site.

   What I'm looking to do is to have a page - similar to the default page with the Contact Form 7 plugin - where they can come to the site, enter their name, email, phone, child's name, teacher's name, and other information.

   I want this data to be saved to a database where I can extract information to help contact and coordinate these volunteers as needs arise.

   So this leads me to 2 questions:

   1) Can this be done?
   2) Assumming a yes answer on question 1, how would I do this?
