   Hey Guy's,
   I am new to the WP world and am trying to catch up. I am setting up a site for my Church and have been asked to set up a Church Directory. However, the information can ONLY be veiwable to those approved members. Can you walk me through how the subscriber process works within WP and maybe give me some advice on how best to set this up?

   you can password protect a page

   or you could just install a new instance of wordpress in a folder like
   /members
   and password protect the whole blog and set it not to be indexed by search engines
   link to it from original blog

   others may have better ideas

   You might want to check out the Members plugin. It gives you several options as far as hiding specific pages and content from unapproved members:

   Nezmin, what did you use to house the directory? a plugin? which one?

   dmigel,
   I used the "Connections" plugin.
