WP needs MySQL 4.0 or higher (1 post)

    Hi,

    just did a fresh install of version 2.1.1
    I changed the config.php and ran the install procedure.
    Respons of WP: "Second Step

    Now we’re going to create the database tables and fill them with some default data.
    ERROR: WordPress 2.1.1 requires MySQL 4.0.0 or higher"

    My service provider tells me they use MySQL 5.0.26 which is higher then 4.0.0. What went wrong?
    Any ideas??
