Hi all, I'm really lost and this is causing a ton of problems, I would really appreciate any help.

I work for a client, and have a multisite up. Several blogs are put up in the multisite.

During development, we've worked on a temporary domain, where the page is located today (if seeing the site will help): http://hviteorn.hosterspace.com

Examples of other blogs are then http://hviteorn.hosterspace.com/jeg-er and http://hviteorn.hosterspace.com/kroppsinnsjelsenteret.

We have moved one of the domains that should lead to the root blog (currently located at http://hviteorn.hosterspace.com), which is http://www.hviteorn.no. When entering that adress, we get relocated to http://hviteorn.hosterspace.com.

Fair enough, but when I try to change the domain throught Superadmin > Sites > Edit, (the site I used to test was /magasin, from domain: hviteorn.hosterspace.com to hviteorn.no), nothing happens. When entering http://hviteorn.no/magasin (also tested with www.), we still get relocated to hviteorn.hosterspace.com. I've tried changing domain through wp-admin and through the database in wp_blogs and wp_x_options, but every result is negative.

BUT THEN, the worst of it all: When trying to reset the domain back to hviteorn.hosterspace.com, i just get a 404 error! So changing the domain obviously breaks some redirecting or whatnot that really messes up the site. For the first site I did this, I had to set the whole site up as a new blog. I really hope I do not have to do this with all the sites.

I've been in contact with the host and domain supplier, and every DNS setting and such seems to be correct for the hviteorn.no-domain.

Anyone been through this, changing a domain breaking a redirect to the blog, and then having trouble reseting it to it's "orignial" state?

If you need any more information or so, please reply to this question and I will provide it as much as I can, or please contact me at marius[at]odinmedia[dot]no. Any help is MUCH appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!
    Marius
