   I am trying to install WordPress-MU on my sites but I do not seem to have access to the Apache server to make the changes.

   I am with GoDaddy deluxe shared hosting.

   Anyone have ideas on how to get around accessing the web server? Has anyone installed WP-MU on shared hosting?

   You're on the right track with the deluxe account. Go Daddy does have a help article that provides detailed steps on how to set this up. You can see these steps here: http://help.godaddy.com/article/5072
