Hi – I tried to find out what was changed in this update but was not allowed to read the post ( http://rocketgeek.com/release-announcements/wp-members-2-8-3-final-release/ )

Are you making this information only available to paid members? I am now afraid to update.

Could you kindly let me know what changes this update includes or point me to the correct resource. Surely this should not be protected information, right??

That post should have been unblocked – that was an oversight. It’s viewable now.

But you can always view the changelog in the wordpress.org plugin repository:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-members/changelog/

That information is also viewable through the WP dashboard. The changelog displays when you click to view the version details (either in the dashboard updates or the plugin panel).

Ok – I found the information on this site under changelog (DUH! I need more sleep.. lol!)

But I have a question about this change:
Added a custom column to page/post tables to indicate if a post/page is blocked/unblocked opposite the chosen default setting.

This sounds like a database change – is it?

That probably could have been worded more clearly. It’s referring to Posts > All Posts and Pages > All Pages in the admin.
