Hi, I have installed and activated "WP maintenance mode" plugin but it doesn't work.
When I try from a computer (logged out from my WP dashboard), my site is always active ! Anyone for a solution ? Thanks, Pierre

Make sure you clear your web browser cache. It could be loading a cached version of your site. Also, can you provide a URL to your site so we can test it out?

Thank you for the quick answer. Yes I cleared the web browser.
Actually, it worked an hour ago after I checked the box "True" in the plugin settings.
But now, the maintenance mode seems to be active only when I enter in the posts section and not when I enter the site, which is non sense.
Can you tell me what you see ? http://www.emotiondaily.com

It appears the site isn't in maintenance mode. Here's a tutorial on how to enable maintenance mode without a plugin:

    I hope this helps!

I found the solution. There were a conflict with "WP super cache" plugin. I desactivated it and now all is ok with the WP maintenance mode.
Thanks for the help. I cannot do any coding so that way is more simple for me :)

You can still use it WITH that plugin, so long as you flush your cache when you go into maintenance mode.

Super Cache create static html pages and the maintenance mode plugin cant see this or change it; only flush the cache or deactivate the plugin is an solution.
