Hi all,
I've recently set up a wp blog (manual install) on godaddy's economy plan. I cannot get email posting to work. I get:
POP3 connect: Error [110] [Connection timed out]
from the wp-mail.php page with pretty standard settings for the pop server. I can telnet into the server and use the user/pass combo without any issues, so I know the server is fine.
Is the issue godaddy, or me?

The issue is GoDaddy. I've had the same issues, both with the normal wp-mail and Postie and even my own attempts at getting things to work.
GoDaddy proxies their servers. There's no fix. I recommend switching to a different webhost. I will be eventually.
Apparently, their dedicated servers do not have the same problem. But that ain't cheap.
