Hello,
I've read many other topics on this, but nothing helps..
After an upgrade on my blog, when I tried to login to wp-admin via wp-login.php or custom scripts using a post form to wp-login.php, if I try to redirect to wp-admin, I always is redirected back to wp-login.php with no warning/error..
You mean your log-in fails and you simply keep getting redirected to your log-in page?
Did you try deleting all of your cookies (or all the cookies related to your website) and clearing the cache?
If you're not getting an error when logging in but the logging in is unsuccessful, I find that oftentimes, it is because of something in the cookies or cache that is interfering with the log-in process.
Give my suggestion a try and see what happens?

Yes, that's what I mean.
I reset Safari (emtpy/delete everything), still the same...
Tried Opera and Firefox, just the same...
try deleting your .htaccess in wordpress root
try it now
if works, generate permalinks
admin - settings - permalinks

Nope, no change there... :(
Still getting sent back to:
http://mydomain.org/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%mydomain.org%2Fwp-admin%2F
EDIT: When I login and look at the address bar, I see;
1. wp-login.php
2. wp-admin/
3. wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%mydomain.org%2Fwp-admin%2F

Still got the problem.. Anyone got a solution?

Okay, got it working:
Backed up everything, deleted everything, clean install,
then deleted the new database and restored the old one,
and finally uploaded the old wp-content :-)

Re-installing is not an option for me...Still looking for a solution..Why is this happenning?

I tried everything suggested in this post. I tried also other suggestions in the post as given by lexpresso. Still does not work for me.
Still have the same problem with redirect:
Any ideas?
