   I was done writing the piece of a century. Pressed 'save draft' to preview it, but my cookie had silently expired while I was working, so I was brought back to the login screen.

   Auto save hadn't worked (my session being expired and all) so no drafts kept around... WordPress ate my entire [moronic expletive deleted] post.

   /me is in for serious overtime tonight.

   Just wanted to vent my pain...

   What browser/wp version were you using? My wordpress autosaves my posts every 2-3 minutes. Are you sure it's not there as a draft??

   This is one reason I switched to firefox - 9 out of 10 times if I hit the "back" button, whatever I wrote was still there. Not always, but most of the time.
