• Hi, I am relatively new to WordPress, though I have been making sites with HTML, CSS and JQuery for a while now. You can see my site at http://www.marczenkner.com.
I am in the middle of transferring it to WordPress, and have a WordPress Install on my site at http://www.marczenkner.com/wordpress. I am using the WP LayerSlider Plugin to replicate the Parallax effect, and have been very happy with this plugin. The one issue that I have is that I have added ids to several of the images within my plugin to use as event triggers for JQuery (I am running a small effect on my page, but outside of the plugin), but they do not trigger anything when clicked on.
You can see the Jquery Div that I am trying to animate if you click on the words “you have to click on this div” on the left of the page, and this is proof that the JQuery is working. Additionally, with the images within WP layer slider, when I add styling to them via CSS and their ids, this works perfectly. But somehow the images are not working as triggers for this div.
I am pretty new to PHP and WordPress, so any help with this would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to see the backend of the install, or need any further info to help fix this problem, I would be happy to send it.
