WP integration into HTML + jQuery carousel (5 posts)

    Hello everybody,
I've been trying to solve this but my PHP knowledge is low and I promised to finish this web for Monday!!

I coded a XHTML+CSS with DIVs. It's supossed to include two DIVs that would contain WordPress content:
    - One DIV containing posts in three columns. Each post shows the title, a small amount of text and a "read more" link that would open an pop-up window with the rest of the post. This DIV would be animated with jQuery in a form of a carousel with two directional arrows.
    - Another DIV containing a guestbook. Since I only was provided with one database, I think the best and simplest idea would be using a WP static page with comments. This DIV would have two columns: one with the form and other with the comments, animated with jQuery in a form of a carousel with two directional arrows as well.

This is a pic of the mock-up I made of these two DIVs: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/211/postsandguestbook.jpg/

Any help would be so so appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Put your HTML in a template and enqueue your JavaScript.

Thanks Andrew Nevins, but may I ask you how do you enqueue the script?

Isn't there a way to do it without having to play with the actual loop?
