  • A lot of hosts aren’t on 5.3 yet, so to use that plugin, you’ll have to find one that does.

    Who is your host? Check on your hosting dashboard and you should see the PHP version listed.

    I’m with Bluehost and my PHP version is: 5.2.17

    thanks Kevin. I’m on Bluehost too, so that explains it. any work around, or any other way to get them to make ny page the newer version?

    On your cPanel dashboard, in the “Software/Services” section there’s a “PHP Config” link. From here you can change your PHP version.

    I haven’t changed my version, so I can’t tell you from experience, but proceed cautiously.
