WP installed in subdomain not working (8 posts)

    Hi there,
I have installed WP 2.9.1 into a subdomain of my main site. Domain name is pointing there normally (www.dev2bbdesign.com). The site is there but no css is showing. I have checked the code and the link to css is correct (and I can see it as well).
Also I cannot login at all. I have checked and username and pw are correct, but nothing happens when I try to login, not even an error page. Password recovery does not work either, nor comments on posts.

The db is still pretty empty, as I have not added anything yet. I have uninstalled and re-installed WP 3 times, to no avail.

Hosting support told me there is nothing wrong with their part or dns redirection and they can't do anything.
    I'm running on PHP 5.
I must also mention that the very first time I have installed it last week it was working fine until the next day...any ideas?

    What's the sub-domain?

    And what's elmetto.net?

elmetto.net is (will be) my main site, there is nothing there at the moment.
in its folder /2bbdesign I have installed WP for this different site (dev2bbdesign.com).
I have done so as godaddy allows multiple domains on the same hosting plan, just installing WP in a subdirectory allows me (well, should allow me) to have multiple websites with multiple domain names on the same hosting plan (server space)

I wrongly called is a sub-domain, it's a different domain in a subdirectory. You'sll get to the same page if you use dev2bbdesign.com or elmetto.net/2bbdesign

    many thanks
    Michele

So you are looking to use one WordPress installation for two different domains? See Installing_Multiple_Blogs and the Multisite solutions.

Not really the same WP. I know I have to install one for each domain, but so far only one is installed so I don't see where the problem is...
I'll read the documentations ans see if I missed anything

Then make sure both domains are working properly. Put the script found at Finding_Server_Info in the web-root folder of each domain and make sure you can browse to each.

Okay, so now DROP the tables (use phpmyAdmin/database manager) from that first install (assuming there's nothing there you need to keep), and place the WordPress files in those web-root folders (or subfolder if you wish) and do the wp-admin/install.php thing.
