   I tried installing Wp on the root of mydomain.com but when I want to access the site it says:

   Welcome to the home of mydomain.com
   To change this page, upload your website into the public_html directory

   But when I use Filemanager, Wp IS installed in the public_directory.
   I can also access WP in mydomain.com/wp-login.php

   Any comments?

   That is because still have a place holder in your root that you need to delete or rename it could be index.html or default.html
