   I have WP installed in the root directory and all is working fine. I want to load the bulletin board program PHPBB onto the same domain in a new folder. I want the board to be at http://www.myblog.com/forum.

   Will this program operate in this folder without effecting the use of WP in all the other folders?

   Hello,

   If you install phpbb within a sub-directory there shouldn't be a problem. WordPress by default is setup with a prefix on the mysql database so the phpbb install should not conflict. You can also look into wordpress forum plugins.
