• Hi, using WP 3.0.1 and two image plugins – NextGen, which I use exclusively for some pages that are simply photo galleries, and wp-imageflow 2 for displaying pics with my blog posts. I’m having a problem, I believe, with the way imageflow2 displays full size pics (the image flow slider works beautifully). When images are displayed full size, the right side border doesn’t diplay, whether on a landscape or portrait size picture. The problem occurs in Firefox, Chrome and Opera (haven’t checked any other browsers) so I’m fairly certain this is something with the plugin and/or its interaction with my theme. I did not have similar problems when using just a lightbox/colorbox plugin and selecting an image to show full size.

    My thumbnail size is set to 90×90; most of my images at full size are either 800×600 or 600×400, but I’ve had the same problems with pictures sized at 500×333. It seems that the pictures themselves are fully displayed, just the right side border of the box isn’t present. I’m still pretty new at all this, so if you have any suggestions for me please treat me like a rank beginner and be very explicit! Thanks in advance –

  • Hi jumpinhumpy. I suspect something in your theme style is causing the problem. However, I cannot inspect the page since your website disables right-clicking. There is a javascript error when loading the image from something other than the WP-Imageflow2 plugin, so that may be part of the problem.

    Actually, I managed to get around your disabling of the right clicks and found that your images have an extra padding of 5px which is pushing the image out. You can get around the problem by adding this your theme’s CSS:

    #wpif2_topboximg {padding: 0;}

    Hi, thanks so much for the help. I tried adding the addition code to the CSS but either I didn’t put it in the right place (I put it in the General img, just after the line with the padding code) or it simply didn’t work. However, I replaced the 5px padding with 0px, and that seems to have taken care of the problem. Thanks so much, love the plugin!
