WP HTTP error: failed to connect to x.x.x.x: access denied

    Hi there,

    I’ve installed WP on my own Fedora 16 server.
    It’s up and running but in the dashboard I keep getting this error:WP HTTP error: failed to connect to x.x.x.x: access denied
    on the RSS feeds.
    Also it doesn’t check for updates.
    It looks like only the WP installation can’t connect to the internet but all the other apps connects with no problem.
    I’ve also disabled the Firewall on the Fedora but no help.
    Any clue what am I missing???
