WP forums are sorely lacking in some features...

you should be able to "watch this forum" so you get notified by email when your posts receives a reply..

there should be a "your posts" link..
you post a question, and can't get back to the forum in a few days, by then you don't always remember the subject line of your post, if it has received a response your name is no longer next to it..

There is the option to click on your profile AND save favourites.

I've just posted to the wrong forum - it would be good to be able to move a post to another forum in cases like this.

Instead I've had to mark the original as Resolved and post again in the correct forum.

    1. Don't mark it resolved unless it really is.
    2. Don't worry: mods can move anything anywhere.

    and @maya90:
    - clicking on your profile (top right) you can see all your posts: topics that you started (right), and topics you have participated in (left).
    - for "watch" use the RSS feed; every thread has its own

I too would like to know, as a blog moderator, when comments are awaiting moderation. I don't use RSS feeds - I am used to having discussion forums which send me an email, as Maya90 suggests, when a comment is posted. Is this possible or must I start using RSS feeds - if so, can you point me to a simple explanation as to how set one up (I did it ages ago and can't remember how I did it...). Pete C

    Pete C,
your question has NOTHING to do with this thread.

Moderating comments on a WP blog and talking about issues in a forum powered by bbpress - apples and oranges.

Look around in your blog's admin interface> Options > Discussion... and study it.
