Support » Plugin: WP Flow Plus » WP Flow plus – no images

  • Don’t seem to be able to make it work at all. The only thing displayed is the black background, during load it says “loading images” but nothing is displayed (except for the black background).

Could it be a conflict with a theme? I have tried with Avada theme and with Modernize theme, but it doesn’t work with any of these.

  • Hello,

I have sent you an email asking for more information.

    Regards,

    Bev

I have the same problem. I added a test image to this page:
    http://photography.daviddoria.com/?page_id=68

The black box appears, but the image is not inside of it. Also, how would I add the images to the page without them displaying along side the WP Flow Plus?

    Thanks,

    David

    Hi David,

Your test page shows that no images were found. If you are using the shortcode with no options it will select the images that were uploaded to the page. You can verify the image upload status by viewing the Media Library. If you want to specify a specific list of images you can use the option to include images by id. This way you can also upload images to the page without them appearing in the carousel.

What I did in this case was

    [wp-imageflow2 name=nature]

and I placed a folder containing some images in wp-content/galleries called nature. I had also tried adding media to the page and using just [wp-imageflow2]. I’m not sure how to find the image ids to add them to the list in the wp-imageflow2 tag explicitly (which I’d be happy to do).

If you have configured the directory on the settings page, you should be able to specify

    [wp-imageflow2 dir=nature]

I just noticed the documentation is missing the list of options, that somehow got lost. I will be updating it shortly to correct this.

To find image ID, just hover over a link associated with the image. You should see the id there.

Brilliant, the dir=nature worked! I look forward to the list of options for the wp-imageflow2 tag.
