    Ok first of all I've managed over hundreds of wp sites and I do know the engine very well. With this one site (which happens to be VERY important client) we have a problem. ALL the f***ing line breaks get's removed from the editor after publishing. When I hit publish every single line break whether enter or shift+enter is gone and the text is crammed together.

    There's two mods but we use them everywhere without problems more fields and qtranslate. This was seemingly valid fix at first

    function cbnet_tinymce_config( $init ) {

    // Don't remove line breaks
    $init['remove_linebreaks'] = false;
    // Convert newline characters to BR tags
    $init['convert_newlines_to_brs'] = true;
    // Do not remove redundant BR tags
    $init['remove_redundant_brs'] = false;

    // Pass $init back to WordPress
    return $init;
    }
    add_filter('tiny_mce_before_init', 'cbnet_tinymce_config');

    [Moderator Note: Please post code or markup snippets between backticks or use the code button.]

    BUT it ended up creating over 15000 line spaces to every single more field boxes in the long run...

    I don't know what to do? We need to shut down the site because I cant get the texts fixed

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    - re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
