• Hi,
I’ve just finished attempting to installs wp-ecommerce on a new 2.7 installation and have run into a few problems. Firstly, it doesn’t appear in the inactive list on the plugins page, but it does appear in the sidebar. Secondly, the links in the side bar lead to 404 errors.

I’ve tried downloading the plugin and uploading it to my site via ftp, uploading the zip file within wordpress and installing it with the search/install plugin page also but it all ends up the same. Is anyone else having this problem? Have you been able to fix it?
    Thanks!
    Bec

  • Same problem…no fix yet. Let me know if you find one.

Ok, here’s the deal. You have to copy the folder “wp-shopping-cart” (from inside the wp-e-commerce folder to your plugins directory. After that everything works as you would expect.

Thanks Joe! That seems to have done the trick 😀

    Same problem!
Thanks joe, but still some troubles are left.
I really want to uninstall this.
How can I uninstall ecommerce plugIn?
It’s now seen in the plugin List.

Delete “wp-shopping-cart” from your plugins directory…or “wp-ecommerce” if you still have that one there.

I’m having this same issue it seems to be looking in wp-admin…I tried all the methods and still no luck. Please Help.

nevermind – 20 seconds after I wrote that…I got it to work..haha weird. Thanks anyways
